Founder and Chief Sourcer
Lori started working in the staffing and recruiting industry at the age of 19. She went on to work for several national and boutique search firms, learning the ins and outs of the talent industry. In 1998, Lori became an in-house recruiter for a Chicago-based IT services firm, where she was recognized as a top producer and went on to serve as an account executive in multi-million dollar software implementations and web projects. After the dot-com crash, Lori helped launch and grow a company of virtual IT recruiters who focused on specialized positions throughout the Midwest.
After starting a family, Lori decided to start her own firm with a unique business model of deriving revenue on a time-and- materials basis instead of the traditional contingent and retained search models. Clients loved the partnership, and as a result, Lori has become a trusted human capital advisor to her clients. Leading search projects and sourcing teams across a broad range of industries, Lori has worked with large corporations and third-party agencies alike to deliver solutions that provide strong ROI and a competitive talent advantage. In 2009 Lori founded Scavado after realizing there had to be a faster and more efficient way to source talent on the Web. Lori enjoys spending time with her family and is taking in every opportunity her recent relocation to the Denver, Colorado area allows.
Lori is responsible for product direction, managing recruitment and sourcing projects and has an especially weak spot for taking on non profit searches that are near to her heart.

Client Services Manager
Josh is a rare native of Colorado who transitioned from a life of hunting bad guys in Marine Corps intelligence to a life of finding good guys in the talent sourcing community. He has found both to be equally elusive. Josh began his recruiting career in technical headhunting in the Denver/Boulder web startup and interactive space. He quickly realized that his passion was not as a closer but as an opener — finding and engaging with the most hard-to-find candidates and skill sets. He was brought into Accenture to help solve sourcing problems by leading the company’s sourcing teams, staying on the bleeding-edge of talent acquisition tools and methodologies, creating training programs, and improving best practices.
Josh went on to work for a Silicon Valley start-up called Accolo before launching his own consulting practice to help architect and drive sourcing and engagement strategy for recruiting organizations in Denver and the Bay Area. He is helping Scavado identify opportunities for custom services that enable our customers to optimize their internal sourcing processes and fully exhaust the talent communities provided by Scavado’s powerful sourcing engine. Josh is passionate about social technology, the Colorado outdoors, good books, strong coffee, and smooth bourbon.
